Rainbow Chicken Ranch offers a variety of backyard chickens available for purchase.
There will be both growing pullets and laying hens for sale.
The pullets (female chickens) will be hatched in February 2024 and will be available for pick up as early as 6 weeks old.
At 6 weeks of age, these birds will be feathered out and no longer require additional heat.

Prices start at $25 at 6 weeks old and go up to $30-$50 as adults depending on the rarity of breed and to cover extra feed expenses.

These hens will start laying in March and April 2024 as chickens start to lay at 5-6 months of age.
Prices are $30 for Gold Stars, $35 for Barred Rocks, Buff Orpington's, Black Australorps, Columbian Wyandottes, and Silver Laced Wyandottes $40 for Easter Eggers and Sapphire Gems and $50 for Blue Laced Red Wyandottes.
All birds have been tested negative for Pullorum and will have been vaccinated for Marek's disease and Coccidiosis.
A few fun breeds that lay colored eggs are the Ameraucanas/Araucanas/Easter Eggers (lay blue, green, yellow, pink, or brown eggs).
