*SUMMARY* The Supplier Quality Technician ensures that supplied parts meet design specifications to support Patio Door Assembly in the Bayport, MN plant.
A focus of this role is to verify that quality standards are effectively being used to detect and address non-conforming product to protect the Andersen Brand.
The Supplier Quality Technician will work closely with the Bayport Patio Door Quality Team, Production Associates, and the Supply Chain Team.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES*: * Investigate reports of non-conforming components and coordinate containment of materials that do not meet specifications * Interface with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to communicate, disposition and track status of non-conforming materials * Utilize specifications and measurement equipment to detect and address non-conforming parts/products * Gather information to initiate Corrective Actions requests for supplied or fabricated parts and assist in 5 Why / 4 Step Problem Solving to address (CAPA, PDCA) * Work in a fast-paced production environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Create quality control and Standard work documentation * Provide coaching, guidance or training to Associates regarding interpretation of specifications and manufacturing practices *QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS* *MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS*: * Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data entry, editing of documentation for shop floor, and summarizing data/findings * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) * Experience with aesthetic specifications and using visual standards * Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving *NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS*: * 2-5 years Quality or Manufacturing experience * Intermediate math aptitude * Experience using measurement equipment * Ability to summarize data and findings and present out results * PIT License *CULTURE AND BENEFITS*: “Be Orange.

Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
