WORK LOCATION: Chaska, MN Core Purpose: The Manufacturing Engineer Co-op position allows a dedicated resource to focus on improving Chaska’s manufacturing processes which is vital for Entegris to maintain its cost effectiveness and maintain its expected lead times.
In this role, the Co-op will work with cross functional teams on process improvements and automation projects which enables improved Injection Molding manufacturing capacity and predictability in Operations.
In this role, you will: • Evaluate manufacturing set up times and inefficiencies.
Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Implement changes to mitigate production capacity issues and reduce set up times or running costs.
• Utilize 5S and lean principles to organize and optimize the manufacturing work spaces in various manufacturing processes.
• Design and implement process improvement solutions.
You're a good fit if you: • Are self-driven, creative and motivated individual that can work independently or in a team environment • Are able to deliver results in a timely manner that meet the organization standards • Have strong technical problem-solving capacity • Are experienced in SolidWorks 3D CAD • Are proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) • Have excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills • Are detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills Desired Majors: • Mechanical Engineer • Design Engineer • Manufacturing Engineer Graduation Year: 2024 or 2025 Physical Requirements: • Physically present on site.
• Ability to lift 30-40lbs.
• Able to navigate manufacturing floor during production.

• Ability to report out on project status to both daily meetings and in person presentations.
