This is a 1st Shift 5:30 am to 4 pm- Monday through Thursday.

Our manufacturing space is located in Elk River, Minnesota.
We can perform virtually all metal, steel fabrication, machining, cladding, welding, finished processes, and assembly processes on site.

*PRIMARY OBJECTIVES*
Must have the ability to layout, fit, and welds diversified work (short run, production, or job shop) both MIG and TIG processes.
*Job Duties & Responsibilities:*
Layout, position and fit material to be welded in an efficient manner per print.
Sets up equipment to weld on a variety of metals and alloys using FCAW and GMAW.
Bolts, clamps and tack weld parts to secure in position for welding.
Moves and positions material with hoist and forklift.

Maintain clean work area.
Regulates amps, volts, wire feed rate, gas flow and gas mixtures in accordance with material, weld process, and weld position within specifications.
Selects proper welding process, equipment, electrodes, and consumables for material being welded.
*Education and Experience:*
High school education or equivalent required.
Certificate of completion from technical school welding program 2 years experience or 3 to 6 years related welding experience.
Knowledge and Skills: Pass the ERMC Class “A” Welding Test and all other requirements of AWS and EN positions.
Blueprint reading including weld symbols and geometric tolerancing.
Math and problem solving skills.
Able to understand verbal and written instructions.
Able to lift 50# regularly.
Understands proper welding requirements for welding position, base material, joint design, and specifications.
Knowledge of safe material handling methods
