Primary Objective: In a team based environment the Master Scheduler will provide a critical link and work closely with Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing and Manufacturing to adequately support all planning activities in a timely manner.
The Master Planner is responsible for steering all processes within the S&OP process, such as orchestrating Demand/Capacity/Consensus Review Meetings, building and deploying a performance management system, and successfully identify improvement potential.
The Master Planner will also supervise Planning Technicians who are responsible for approving run status change paperwork and other IE & planning related activities Will use various modeling techniques, data analytics tools, statistical methods, and planning concepts to ensure timely decision making, fab efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The Master Planner will lead capacity, demand, and strategical planning for the factory.
Major Areas of Accountability: 1.
Actively drive overall Demand Planning governance, ensuring consistency / best practice sharing across all market segments, and coordinating all the Demand Review Meetings, ensuring adherence to the schedule 2.
Design and enforce Demand Planning performance management process, tracking all relevant performance areas/KPIs (e.
g.
, forecast accuracy, trend anticipation, forecast bias, time to convergence, consensus) and ensuring metric and measurement consistency across all market segments (e.
g.
, prepare and initiate performance dialogues using KPI dashboards) 3.
Coordinates the efficient expediting of materials and work in process with purchasing, production and engineering.
Proactively identify areas of potential production concerns, keeping in mind capacity constraints, shortages and communicates analysis/recommendations to all parties impacted.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions related to material planning and production scheduling.

Regularly follow up on continuous improvement activities owned by the various teams within the Demand Planning organization, streamlining efforts and ensuring diligent and rigorous execution 5.
Support customer commits and on time performance.

Support Operations by setting factory metrics and prioritizing improvements across all shifts.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or Business Experience and Skills: • 6+ years experience as a Master Scheduler/Production planner, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Ideal candidate must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Capacity Modeling and functional area ownership to support OEE and Cycle Time improvements.
• Self-motivated and willing to go above and beyond to achieve customer success.
Technology/Equipment: • Experience with Microsoft Office • Experience with planning tools like MS Project • Knowledge of MRP system a plus U.
