We are currently searching for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team.
(Formerly known as Thomas Engineering Company was founded in 1962) Now called R&M High Speed Stampings.
Our 90,000 sq.
ft.
manufacturing building is located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
We specialize in high-quality, close-tolerance micro-miniature top medium sized metal stampings and assemblies to a wide range of industries and markets.
We offer rapid prototyping, tool design and construction, ranging from simple stamping dies to complex progressive stamping and forming dies.
We are a custom precision metal fabricator with a diverse product and customer mix.

What is a Material Handler?
A material handler is an individual responsible for the efficient and organized movement of materials within a warehouse or distribution center.
Their primary role involves loading and unloading shipments, sorting, and organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Material handlers use various equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely and quickly.
They play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling orders, and supporting the overall logistics and supply chain operations of a business.
In this role, you will:
Handle in-plant materials
Wrapping and banding freight
Pick up and deliver raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areas
Successfully complete forklift certification program
Label and prepare packages for shipment
To succeed in this role, you must:
Have basic computer skills
Have effective communication skills: fluent English reading, writing, speaking
Have experience working in shipping/receiving/warehouse
Ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions
Be able to continuously stand, walk, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently.
We are also willing to train the correct individuals!
