is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our team in Minneapolis! Ironmark is an award-winning commercial general contractor based in Minneapolis and we are looking to add an Asst.
Superintendent for construction projects in Minneapolis, with potential to work on traveling assignments to our projects in Colorado or Arizona.

*What you’ll do:* * Assist in the day-to-day management of overall commercial construction project operations, people, and processes * Apply vigilant cost containment, quality control, and risk management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of assigned projects * Create a safe work environment by ensuring full compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA regulations and Ironmark's Safety Program * Ensure adherence to the schedule, expediting subcontractors and suppliers as required * Supervise on-site construction activities in conjunction with the project Superintendent * Develop schedules and coordinate trades * Complete and oversee maintenance of all daily work documentation and other paperwork required, submitting all as required on a timely basis * Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders Requirements: *Want to get your resume to the top? Take a look at our requirements:* * Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred * Willingness to work in a traveling position on projects in Arizona or Colorado preferred * Ability to understand local building codes/regulations to ensure compliance.
Knowledge of federal, state and local safety laws and regulations.
OSHA 30 certified (preferred) * Ability to read and understand blueprints * Strong communication skills with a demonstrated background of working effectively with a wide range of workers in a diverse community * Proficient with Microsoft Office applications as well as use of Smart Phones and Tablets including taking and sending photographs, voice memos, accessing cloud-based document storage, communicating via email, adding and managing attachments * Passionate about managing commercial construction projects and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Effective at focusing under pressure, smoothly managing tasks, change, and priorities * Bring solutions, not just problems—proactive interaction with architect/engineer/PM; “We” have a problem, let’s solve it together * Possess a sharp, continuous improvement mind and inner drive to succeed * Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record along with reliable access to a vehicle *What you’ll get:* Ironmark provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to help you stay healthy, feel secure, and maintain a great work/life blend.
